Hazrat Ayyub (A.S.) – A Timeless Lesson in Patience and Faith

 Introduction

Life is never free from trials. Yet among all stories of patience and steadfast faith, the story of Prophet Ayyub (A.S.) stands out as a shining example. His journey shows that even in the darkest moments, turning to Allah ﷻ with unwavering trust brings ultimate reward.

His Life Before the Test

Hazrat Ayyub (A.S.) was blessed with wealth, children and health. He was known for his generosity and constant gratitude to Allah. His life reminds us that blessings are a trust from Allah, not merely our own achievements.

---

Severe Trials from Allah ﷻ

Allah tested Ayyub (A.S.) by taking away his wealth, children and health. Despite losing everything, he remained patient and continued to remember Allah.

> “Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].”

(Qur’an, Surah Sad 38:44) – Read the verses on Quran.com

Patience (Sabr) and Complete Trust (Tawakkul)

Even in illness and poverty, Ayyub (A.S.) never complained. His famous supplication was:

> “Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.” (Qur’an 21:83)

This short, humble dua shows how believers should turn to Allah during trials.

Allah’s Mercy and Reward

After years of suffering, Allah restored Ayyub’s health, doubled his wealth and blessed him again with children. His story proves that after hardship comes ease—but the true reward lies in a heart that remains steadfast.

Lessons for Us Today

Patience in Hardship: Trials are a sign of Allah’s love, not His anger.

Gratitude in Ease: Like Ayyub (A.S.), thank Allah during times of comfort.

Hope in Allah’s Mercy: No matter how long the trial lasts, Allah’s plan is always best.

Urdu Section –
